What: Thursday Night Splash-N-Dash Series in Summer

When: Maybe in 2010?!?!  2009 has BEEN CANCELLED (the Race Series, not the Year)

Where: Lake Del Valle, Livermore CA.

Registration: Check back in 2010 for a revival of this awe-inspiring and death-defying race series of derring-do!

Race Details:

The idea is to give you a fun, low-cost and low-key, midweek open water swim and run. The Swim Course is 1500(ish) meters, broken up by two, 750 meter loops in a counterclockwise direction.  The Run Course is an out-and-back 5k, with two "honesty hills."  95% of the run is on trails. We have a downloadable, course for you to check out and prepare for.

Awards: Awards, schmawards...who cares..it's a fun Thursday series..That said..there will be some usual stuff, and some "Special Awards" (of the Short-Yellow-Bus variety) for DFL, Cherry Picking and Best Brick in each race. You'll just have to race, to find out what we mean. Choose your finishing spot wisely...
